March 8, 2010 – Newberry on winning team to provide Cyber Investigations Training for DCITA

The Newberry Group was selected as a subcontractor to CSC (NYSE: CSC) as part of a team to provide cyber training in support of the Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy (DCITA) in Linthicum, Maryland as well as the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM). Newberry will assist in the design, development, and delivery of cyber-security, law enforcement, counterintelligence, cyber forensics, and incident response courses.

CSC won this task order, which was competitively procured by GSA’s FEDSIM under the GSA’s Millennia Government-wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), in September 2009. It has a one-year base period with four one-year options. The total estimated value is $85 million.

"The relentless changes in technology, cyber landscape and threats demand that we provide the very best training to our students; from the fundamentals to key tactics, techniques and procedures all delivered through innovative and dynamic methodology," said Matthew Parsons, director of DCITA.
