Ms. Porter has 25 years of experience in information technology and information security. In the role of Director of Defense & Civil Programs, she supports the President & CEO by providing the knowledge, leadership, and vision necessary to ensure the Defense & Civil business unit, along with its multiple programs, have adequate corporate management oversight and control. Ms. Porter also supplies the strategic direction, leads the day-to-day supervision of business development, operations, project/program management, focusing on forecasting, schedule adherence, on-time delivery, program financial analysis of active contracts, and task orders for DoD/Federal Government contracts. Ms. Porter has been a long-time employee of Newberry Group, serving the company since its inception in 1996. Her career at Newberry Group began as a consultant working on-site at the client’s location. Ms. Porter has since received numerous promotions to expand her role at Newberry. Previous to her current Directorship, she has served as Program Manager with oversight of Certification & Accreditation projects, leading the process of analyzing and defining security requirements, then designing, developing, and implementing solutions.

Ms. Porter holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration Management Science.
